How should I match industries and positions?

Custom Databanks allows you to choose how you match industries and position specialties when searching the Executive Search System™ database. The default is to require recruiters in your subset to specialize in BOTH the industries and positions you select. And for most users, this is the option to pick.

Here is why. Suppose you are a long time computer sales professional and you select Sales for the position category and Computers for the industry category. If you click on EITHER, you could have recruiters in your subset who specialize in Sales positions within industries other than Computers, Food or Textiles for example. Then your professional experience would not be relevant to that recruiter’s practice. Clicking on BOTH makes sure the recruiters in your subset specialize in the industries and positions most appropriate for your professional background.
