The database system allows you to select firms which match your industry, position, salary and geographic criteria. Then you can download contact information to use in your job hunt.
The system allows three download options:
- First Contact Only
- First + Matching Specialties: Text file contains first contact plus other contacts whose industry/position specialties match your search criteria.
- All Contacts
Most candidates should choose the First + Matching Specialties option. This option allows you to target only those individual recruiters who match your criteria. There may be recruiters in a firm that specialize more narrowly and who do not match your job hunt needs. Sending your resume to these recruiters is a waste of time and effort.
